John Vaughan

John Vaughn is the award-winning film maker of My Dad and Valour, as well as a general enthusiast of media, in particular, cinema and television. His manic comedy stylings have been...entertaining us for years and he's more than made up for it with two wonderful Octocon film premiers!

His latest film, My Dad, which premiered at Octocon, has since gone on to win the coveted Best Picture (Short) Award at the prestigious Action On Film Festival in Pasadena, California.

John is a long-time Octocon-goer and it looks like he'll be back this year!
