Epic Con 2.0

The weekend of the 13th and 14th of February, will herald the return of
the very successful EPIC CON, held in the fabulous John Hume Building
out in NUI Maynooth.
Run by the Student Science Fiction Society, Omega, it will have talks
on various topics. Guests include the charming long-time Octocon guest Michael Carrol and the delightful Juliet E. Mckenna.

Submitted by Danielle Lavigne on 29. January 2010 - 12:47So it's official: Octocon 2010 will be taking place on the 16th and 17th of October 2010! It'll be taking place in the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin, and our Guest of Honour will be George R.R. Martin.
Wanna come and meet friends, old and new, sit in on panels with our wonderful guests, win lovely things, contribute to our charity auction and have a great time?

First up we need to alert you to the wonderful new trailer for Michael Carroll's forthcoming novel, Super Human.
The trailer just went online and here it is for your viewing pleasure! Make sure you click through and rate it five stars because it's amazing!
There's also the news that Alex de Campi's new downloadable comic Valentine, has finally seen release! You can see it as it comes out in its many languages and formats over at ValentineTheComic.com! (Episode one is free!)
